 About Our Company Minimize

AE Johnson & Associates, formerly known as AE Johnson, Computer Consultant, was formed January 1, 1992. It was founded by Ann Johnson who formed the company after ending her career as a Systems Engineer for 11 years at IBM. Being a Systems Engineer for IBM midrange processors, she started the company by continuing to support the IBM midrange processor clientele on a consultant/programmer basis. To help enhance her visibility in the Tulsa area, she also accepted an invitation to teach Special classes for the AS/400 customer set at Tulsa Junior College, Northeast Campus. Several of the classes were already in place but required reorganizing to make them more beneficial to the students. She also, over the next 12 months, added other classes that would help to make the AS/400 education offering more appealing to businesses in the surrounding area.

Her classes cover topics such as AS/400 Operations and Administration, AS/400 Utilities and Query Support, AS/400 CL Programming, and AS/400 Performance and Security. These topics encompass 9 classes that are taught across the semester and have always a sell-out crowd.

In January 1993, Robert Johnson joined the company on a part-time basis to help address the need for technical support in the IBM PC and PC compatible arena. Since the company had both Midrange processor and PC expertise, Robert and Ann began working in the connectivity area as well. This proved to be a invaluable resource for the company and the company clientele grew rapidly.

At the time Robert joined the company, Ann also began to teach classes for the Business Services division of TJC, Northeast Campus. Since her teaching schedule was already extensive, she agreed to teach one AS/400 accredited course a semester. Since there was a high demand for AS/400 RPG Programming she became the instructor for the "Introduction to RPG" and "Advanced RPG" courses, alternating each semester to allow students the opportunity to take both classes. She recently has begun to teach "RPG IV", which is the new ILE version of RPG, supporting compliance for the Year 2000.

In January 1995, the company name was changed to AE Johnson & Associates, and several more employees were hired. AE Johnson and Associates continues to advance in order to provide the quality service expected by all our clients. This includes providing support for designing, implementing and maintaining web-sites for our customers, as well as assisting customers in becoming Year 2000 compliant.

Satisfaction with services rendered is our primary goal, as well as completing projects as efficiently and timely as possible. We look forward to having the opportunity to offer our services to you and your organization.
